blog 19: Project recap and clarifications 

in the first few blogposts I mention having an atonal intro track and a track that samples Bollywood vocals, I ended up scraping these two tracks as they did not mesh with the others, after scraping the track I re wrote the script and fine-tuned my compositions to it, this project has been in the works since September of 2024 till may 2025, over a 6 month period I feel it is natural to have different ideas and to get rid of them to maintain the main goals of the project. It was a tough decision as I felt these two tracks could have been a different and great alternative perspective to film music. But the silver lining is that i will not have to worry about releasing this project on digital streaming platforms as no illegal samples are used in my project. 

After i was finished with mixing and composing I put the whole project through the TASCAM BR-20 analog tape machine and used the varispeed knob to slow the whole project down by a little bit, this resulted in a change of pitch which gave the project a more cohesive sound while still maintaining its characteristics. Another reason why I decided to do this is because I am not sure when I will get another opportunity to use a real tape machine.
